Where P-70378 is marked with an asterisk (*), P-70421
may
be threaded directly to the 1-3/8" or 1-1/4" hose and P-70378
not utilized. P-70378 should be used when the vacuum hose is regularly switched between different tools. Using
P-70421 alone offers greater security between the adapters and slightly increased performance.
